Common questions
How do pings work?
- Pick a preset ("Meet at ___", "Last run", "OMW"...), pick friends, send. Your exact location rides along.
- Pings expire after 45 minutes so nobody chases stale info.
- Recipients can answer with one tap: "OMW" or "Can't".
How do I add friends?
- Crew tab → Add friend → search their @handle, or
- Crew tab → QR button → let them scan your code on the lift.
Someone's bothering me
- Swipe their row on the Crew tab to Block (stops their requests and pings instantly) or Report them to us.
- You can also report any problem from Me → Report a problem. We review every report.
- Manage your block list under Me → Blocked users.
How do I delete my account?
- Open SkiPing → Me tab.
- Danger zone → Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
That removes your profile, handle, friendships, pings, and sign-in record from our servers immediately. Locked out? Email us from any address and we'll handle it.
